Monadnock Writers' Group (MWG) is a non-profit organization established by a group of local writers in 1984. Through monthly meetings from September through June, we offer fellowship and support to professional and novice writers alike. We are committed to raising public awareness of the literary talent in the region.

While most of our members reside in the communities that comprise the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire, we also appeal to writers from a wider in-state area, and from neighboring Vermont and Massachusetts as well.

Our members share a common respect for the power of the written word.

How to Become a Member

Membership is open to those seeking inspiration through fellowship with other writers. Dues are collected annually, and are used to pay for our meeting space, to compensate guest speakers, and to meet other operating expenses.
