Monadnock Writers’ Group sponsors a preliminary round of the statewide Three-Minute Fiction Slam competition. The competition is open to anyone to read three minutes of original fiction to our panel of judges. The Peterborough winner is invited to read at the state finals sponsored by the New Hampshire Writers’ Project (NHWP). The MWG’s annual Three-Minute Fiction Slam took place on October 28 at 1:00 pm in the downstairs meeting room at the Peterborough Library. The first place winner, Brenna Manuel, will move on to the next round and compete at New Hampshire Writers project state competition on November 11th at Webster Hall in the SNHU campus.
